Y’all, can I just tell you about how much
this girl LOVES donuts? Glazed, powdered, frosted or sprinkled, I love them
all.
More times than not, I will gladly stop at
the Krispy Kreme down the street when the neon red “HOT” sign is illuminated. But
if you follow me on Instagram, you already knew that. I just can’t resist an 89
cent fresh, hot donut that has just passed through a waterfall of glaze.
So I decided to finally buy a donut pan. I
promise not to turn the blog into my adventures in donut making, unless of
course you all love donuts as much as I do. Anyway, here are a few donut
recipes that are likely to debut ASAP in my kitchen…

Lemon Poppy Seed Donuts from The Novice Chef
Baked Apple Doughnuts {with Caramel Drizzle} from Bakers Royale
Banana Chocolate Chip Baked Doughnuts from Janie’s Kitchen
Baked Maple Donuts {grain free} from Dashing Dish
Glazed Pumpkin Buttermilk Donuts from Barefoot and Baking
Do you own a donut pan? Any tips on using
it? Feel free to pass along your favorite donut recipe!

I'll be waiting for your first recipe...I'm all about donuts these days its a crazy addiction!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a donut pan so I'm excited to learn more.
ReplyDelete~ Lisa ~
I got my friend the "Babycakes Covers The Classics" cookbook and we're going to try out the vegan donuts. Hope they turn out, and I hope you have fun making yours!
ReplyDeleteI love some doughnuts too! I like the chocolate creme filled ones from Krispy Kreme! YUMMMM!
ReplyDeleteI am drooling over every single one of these recipes right now. YUM. Can't wait to hear how they turn out! And if you perhaps make too many batches feel free to send over with Mel :)
ReplyDeleteOmg, I'm on a diet. STOP! Lol
ReplyDeleteThese look beyond delicious. :)
ummm i'll be a willing taste tester!
ReplyDeleteps. can you believe i had my first HOT kk donut last summer? needless to say, it was a life changing experience.

Oh my goodness, this post is like torture! They all look sooo delicious!
ReplyDeleteahh those all look so delish! Good luck making them, I'm sure they'll turn out great!
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh those all looks delicious! Good luck! I don't own a donut pan...it would be WAY too dangerous for me! :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY, these all look so good! Can't wait to hear how your donuts turn out... then maybe I will "need" a donut pan too!
ReplyDeleteyum! my mouth is watering!
ReplyDeleteI'm drooling at my desk...make some and ship to Charleston?! :)
ReplyDeleteThose donut photos you showed in the blog look delicious....I could never make a dozen donuts for only myself and my husband....eating that many donuts for just the two of us, is way too much processed sugar and carbs. My panceas would be working overtime to counteract the sugar.
ReplyDeleteTo control the amount of sweets we eat...we will buy one donut at a time for each of us.
Has your weight stayed the same since you got married and added another birthday to your age?? Either you are working out a lot or you are eating small portion sizes of all the delicious food you are showing on your blog.
I noticed that when I turned 28, I really had to watch what I ate, or before I new it, I was buying larger size clothing. I call it weight creep, because it happens so gradually.
Hi anonymous,
DeleteMost of the time I share my baked goods with friends/coworkers/etc, otherwise we would eat them all. My weight has always fluctuated by 3 lbs, before and after marriage, and I definitely have to work out to keep it that way!
Would love for you to publicly "follow" my blog using Google Friend Connect in my sidebar.
xo, Christina
these recipes could get me in MAJOR danger my dear!!!! i love me some doughnuts, though i might just have to stop by krispy kreme ;)
ReplyDeleteNo recipes from me, but I must say, I am REALLY craving a KK red velvet donut now :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is dangerous to my health and wallet!! JK, I love it. I'm staring at a box of munchkins as we speak (type)!
ReplyDeleteBTW, rocking the easy bun again today. How did I live without this? Look for a pic on my blog tomorrow!
Yummy! That lemon one sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteI've seriously considered buying a donut pan! I'll have to see how it works out for you! My office is directly across the street (a small, non-busy street) from the new KK in Cotswold. Needless to say, I get tempted multiple times a day and coworkers are always bringing some in. Love / hate it!!
ReplyDeletePLEASE post!!! I love doughnuts!!
ReplyDeleteYum! I would attempt this but I am not so good with the super difficult cakes. Unless they are easy? They just seem difficult. We had a Krispy Kreme run on Saturday night and it was delightful.
ReplyDeleteOh yum. I just love donuts.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a hot Krispy Kreme before. I should probably change this soon as a donut lover. I totally nabbed 2 vanilla long johns at Kwik Trip for $1. I'm terrible going in there in the afternoon when all the goodies are reduced. I may have to put a donut pan on my registry with these fun recipes to try!
ReplyDeleteI broke myself of donuts when I was in my early 20's. (even though I had a few while pregnant).I was a total sucker for them and FAT because of it. :(
ReplyDeleteGood for you though. You are still able to eat them and stay tiny!!! I'm envious!!
I share in this love with you!! The first two look ahhhmazeballs
ReplyDeleteSweet blog! I found it while surfing around on Yahoo News.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I've been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thanks
Here is my website ; best diet plan for women
This looks like another specialized piece of kitchen equipment that will be used initially and then forgotten and sit in the cabinet gathering dust.
ReplyDeleteA waste of money if you ask me....too trendy and it is not a NEED!!!
Those all look delicious! Can't wait to see what you make first. A donut pan? Hmm, I think I need to put one of our wedding registry! My fiance would die! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that you just did an entire post on donuts/doughnuts.
ReplyDeleteUm yeah doughnuts are nutso delicious and now that Colleen lives near that Krispy Kreme (and you I think?!) things have gotten a little out of control for us when it comes to doughnuts. Can't wait to see how they turn out. I want a doughnut pan too.
